The Mossèn Jacinto Verdaguer School is located in the Poble-sec neighborhood, in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona. History

In 1923, Barcelona City Council decided to build a building to house the offices of the 1929 International Exposition. The building was designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and is located in the Poble-sec neighborhood, between the Paral·lel avenue and Montjuïc park. The building was built in the noucentista style with sgraffito façades, and was inaugurated in 1931. After the International Exposition, the building was converted into the Mossèn Jacint Verdaguer School, in homage to the Catalan poet Jacint Verdaguer.
